The report in the French news outlet has claimed both Newcastle and Everton are keen on securing the services of Marega this month.
Both the Magpies and the Toffees are considering making a double-digit bid for the Mali international striker.

In our opinion, neither Newcastle nor Everton should make a bid for Moussa Marega.
Marega is 30 now and is playing for Al Hilal.
The striker won the AFC Champions League with Al Hilal in 2021.
The Mali international was also a success at FC Porto and has played in the UEFA Champions League.

Now, both Newcastle and Everton could do with a new striker.
But do the Magpies and the Toffees really need to sign a 30-year-old who is playing in Saudi Arabia?
In our opinion, no.
Surely, both Newcastle and Everton could find a younger striker closer to him.
If Newcastle and Everton want to sign a striker, then they should go for a young player who would be able to make an impact in the long run.
