Celtic have told Ewan Henderson that he can leave for Hibernian in the January transfer window, according to Football Scotland.
The report has claimed that Hibernian manager Shaun Maloney wants to sign Henderson from Celtic in the January transfer window.
Maloney worked at the Celtic B team and managed Ewan Henderson’s elder Liam Henderson.
Football Scotland have reported that Ewan Henderson is out of contract at Celtic at the end of the season and has been told that he is free to leave.
If, of course, a deal can be done.
Ewan Henderson should leave Celtic for Hibernian
In our view, leaving Celtic for Hibernian now would make sense for Henderson.
Especially if the Hoops have told him that he is free to leave.

This suggests that Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou does not consider the 21-year-old as part of his plans.
There is no point in Henderson in staying at Celtic if he is not needed.
Hibernian are an ambitious club, and if Maloney wants him, then, in our view, Henderson should seriously consider a move back to the Scottish Premiership club.
