Some Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that Thomas Tuchel will drop Romelu Lukaku from the starting lineup against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

Chelsea will take on Liverpool at Stamford Bridge in London in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Lukaku is a key figure for Chelsea and has started scoring goals again for the Blues.

No Romelu Lukaku for Chelsea v Liverpool?

However, according to The Telegraph, Chelsea manager Tuchel is considering dropping the former Manchester United striker against Liverpool.

The 28-year-old could even be left out of the squad entirely, according to the report.

Tuchel is reportedly not happy with Romelu’s interview with Sky Sports Italia that was released recently.

In the interview, the former Everton striker spoke about not being happy with his situation at Chelsea and mentioned about a potential return to Inter Milan when he is still at the top of his game.

Chelsea re-signed Lukaku from Inter in the summer of 2021 for £97.5 million.

Lukaku has made eight starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Chelsea so far this season.

The striker has scored five goals in those matches.

The Belgium international has scored two goals in four Champions League appearances for the Blues so far this campaign.
