Ian Wright has stated that teams will now be starting to ‘fear’ Tottenham, as he told Premier League Productions.
Despite Spurs failing to break down ten-man Southampton on Tuesday, Wright thinks they have a front three that would cause any teams ‘major problems’.
A pretty important and potentially season-defining January awaits Spurs because there are four London clashes next month.
Two games include their EFL Cup semi-final showdowns against Chelsea, as well as facing them in the Premier League.
In between that all, there is also the small matter of the north London derby, which could prove to be huge in the race for the top four.
Nonetheless, Spurs fans will love Wright’s verdict on Antonio Conte’s side and how they have the ingredients to do well again.
“We are talking about a Tottenham side, their front men, as much as it didn’t quite work out for them (v Southampton), they will cause any of those teams major problems,” said Wright.
“And all those teams will be worried about this particular Tottenham.
“So, I think they can go into those games pretty confident because they can take points off anybody now. They have got themselves going and they look like a team that you have to start fearing Tottenham again.
“They look to be coming back to it.”

Antonio Conte has quite clearly made a huge difference and that’s proven by the fact that they are unbeaten in his first seven league matches.
Added with that, when he first arrived, there was a lot of talk about him shaking up this Spurs side and working them to the ground.
Well, to go from a team that had run the least out of all the Premier League teams under Nuno Espirito Santo to shooting right to the top of the table in those charts, says it all.
Even if there is a wobble from Spurs during these coming months or they don’t reach their goals.
Conte will probably produce his best work next season, when he has a few players out of the door, new faces in and a pre-season under his belt.
