Arsenal want to expose young gun Kido Taylor-Hart to senior football over the second half of the 2021/22 season with the winger’s first loan transfer, according to football.london.
The Gunners are open to offers for the 19-year-old to help with his development towards a first-team role. Academy Manager Per Mertesacker is eager for rising talents to leave Hale End temporarily. He wants to avoid their progress stagnating with too much U23s action.
Taylor-Hart made his development side breakthrough under Steve Bould last term and has continued to establish himself under Kevin Betsy. The England U17 international has made 11 appearances in all competitions this season, including eight in the Premier League 2.

Taylor-Hart enjoyed a strong start to the campaign with an assist against Crystal Palace and a brace against Tottenham Hotspur. But the forward has since failed to score or create any.
Mertesacker has now put Taylor-Hart’s name on Arsenal’s loans list ahead of the January transfer window. He is one of eight U23 gems the German wants to send out over the next month. But the Gunners’ plans could change if first-team boss Mikel Arteta needs options.
Mertesacker to work on loan transfer for Arsenal gem Taylor-Hart
Taylor-Hart joined Arsenal’s academy in 2009 and has remained with the north Londoners since. He is yet to experience first-team football or a loan move away from the capital.

The winger’s performances at junior level convinced Arsenal to offer Taylor-Hart his first professional contract in August. His displays also attracted interest from Premier League, Championship and Bundesliga clubs, per football.london, before he opted to stay put.
It may be likely that Arsenal chief Mertesacker now focuses on securing Taylor-Hart a loan transfer to a League One or League Two side for the remainder of the term. He will want to ensure the forward plays often, or is at least offered the chance to compete for minutes.
