Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Ben Davies against Southampton.

Davies was in action for Tottenham in their Premier League game against Southampton away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

The Wales international left-back started on the left of a back-three for Antonio Conte’s side.

And his performance impressed Tottenham fans, as you can see from the tweets below.

Well, some of them anyway.

Davies has established himself as an important player for Spurs under head coach Conte.

The 28-year-old did not always play regularly under Nuno and Jose Mourinho.

But, now playing in a back-three under former Chelsea boss Conte, Davies is flourishing.

Against 10-man Southampton on Tuesday afternoon, Davies was strong defensively and had a goal ruled out..

The Wales international defender had one effort on goal, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 86%, won three headers, took 62 touches, made three tackles and three clearances, and put in two crosses.

The Premier League match at St. Mary’s Stadium ended in a 1-1 draw.

James Ward-Prowse put the Saints in the lead in the 25th minute.

Mohammed Salisu brought down Son Heung-min in the box in the 39th minute.

It saw Salisu earn a second yellow card and get sent off.

Harry Kane scored from the resulting penalty.
