Praise for Celtic midfielder Nir Bitton
The former Rangers man said on BBC Sport: “Bitton has been excellent today.
“He’s had a few wayward attempts before his goal but that one’s in the bottom corner and now it is probably curtains for St Johnstone.”

Impressive performance
Celtic deservedly picked up all three points against St. Johnstone, and Bitton played his part.
The Israel International scored one of the goals and imposed himself in the middle of the park.
Bitton took six shots, played three key passes, had a pass accuracy of 82.4%, won six headers, took 91 touches, attempted one dribble, made two tackles and one clearance, and put in one cross.
The win for Celtic means that they are now second in the Scottish Premiership table with 45 points from 20 matches.
Defending champions Rangers are at the top with 48 points from 19 games.
