Kevin Campbell has said on Highbury Squad that Arsenal attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard is playing better now that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not in the team.
The Sky Sports pundit has noted that Odegaard is not frightened to play the ball forward for Arsenal now.
Aubameyang has been left out of the Arsenal team for the past three Premier League games.
And Mikel Arteta’s side have won all of them.
Former Arsenal striker Campbell has been impressed by Odegaard, who cost the Gunners £30 million (The Daily Mail).
Praise for Arsenal’s Martin Odegaard
Campbell said on Highbury Squad: “What I have noticed about Odegaard is this. He is not frightened to play the ball forward or drive into the space to release whereas when Aubameyang was playing, we didn’t see that from him. It was a little bit different.”

Flourishing at Arsenal
In our opinion, Odegaard has started to show his class at Arsenal and is being very productive.
The former Real Madrid attacker is scoring goals and providing assists.
Odegaard is now becoming a ‘proper’ number 10 and could end up getting the kind of stats that top players in his position do.
The Arsenal no. 8 has scored four goals and provided one assist in 12 Premier League starts so far this season.
Arsenal are very much in the running for the Premier League top four this season.
And, in our view, Odegaard will have to play a big role in that quest.
