Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the tackle from Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhala on winger Raphinha.

Leeds suffered a 4-1 defeat to Arsenal at Elland Road in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

It was a pretty comfortable win for Mikel Arteta’s side.

And they deserved it.

However, there was one particular incident that did not sit well with the Leeds fans.

Xhaka appeared to stamp on Leeds winger Raphinha.

It did look like a nasty challenge, but the Switzerland international midfielder was not sent off.

Arsenal legend Martin Keown criticised Xhaka on Match of the Day on BBC One.

And some Leeds fans have criticised the Arsenal star too on Twitter, as you can see below.

Leeds fans on Xhaka challenge on Raphinha

Bad challenge

In our opinion, Xhaka’s challenge on Raphinha was bad.

Really bad.

What is even worse is that Xhaka did not have to make the challenge.

It was nowhere near goal, and Raphinha was not going to score.

In our view, Xhaka needs to really stop doing this, or else it will cost Arsenal dearly at some point.

As for Leeds, they need to really step up their game.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.

Yes, Leeds have been badly affected by injuries, but they really need to find a way now.
