Gary Neville has said on Sky Sports Premier League (7:20pm, December 18, 2021) that Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli was “outstanding” against Leeds United at Elland Road.
The Sky Sports pundit believes that Martinelli was the best player on the pitch, as Arsenal beat Leeds 4-1 at Elland Road in the Premier League.
Martinelli started the match and scored twice.
The Brazilian forward found the back of the net in the 16th and 28th minute.
Neville was on co-commentary duty for the match on Sky Sports Premier League, and he was impressed by Martinelli.

Superb performance
Martinelli was superb for Arsenal against Leeds and was arguably the best player on the pitch.
Martin Odegaard played well for the Gunners too, but, in our opinion, Martinelli was better.
The Brazilian forward was quick, made intelligent runs and took his goals extremely well.
Martinelli was always very active and was a problem for the Leeds defence throughout his time on the pitch.
We always knew how talented the Brazilian is.
And now Martinelli is showing what he is capable of.
The youngster is getting a run of games and is playing consistently well, and his class is showing.
