Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte has told Football.London that Sergio Reguilon could be back against Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
Reguilon suffered a thigh injury while playing for Tottenham against Norwich City.
The Spain international left-back has been training, according to Spurs boss Conte, who has suggested that he could play against Liverpool.
Tottenham will take on Liverpool at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday.
Antonio Conte on Sergio Reguilon
Conte told Football.London about Reguilon on Friday: “Sergio until today trained apart but he’s ready to have the training session with us tomorrow and the player is comfortable to be back in training with us.
“I hope that tomorrow he’s totally recovered but today Sergio was happy. His feeling was good.”

Encouraging for Tottenham
In our view, Reguilon being back in training is very encouraging for Conte’s Tottenham.
The 24-year-old left-back is a key player in Conte’s system at Tottenham.
Conte plays with wing-backs, and Reguilon is playing the role perfectly.
The former Real Madrid left-back is scoring goals and is a threat in attack.
In our opinion, if Reguilon plays against Liverpool, then it will enhance Tottenham’s chances of winning the Premier League game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Now, we know that Liverpool are in good form and will be favourites for the match against Spurs.
However, if Reguilon starts, then he will cause problems for Liverpool defensively.
We think that the Premier League match between Tottenham and Liverpool will be a cracker.
