According to Jeunes Footeux, Bayern Munich are interested in signing Leeds forward Raphinha as they look to replace Kingsley Coman.

What’s the story?

Well, there are doubts over Coman’s future at the Allianz Arena, which could cause major implications for Marcelo Bielsa and Leeds.

Jeunes Footeux believe Bayern Munich have identified Raphinha and Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele as targets, in case Coman departs.

The French news outlet believe the Brazilian could consider a departure from Elland Road if Leeds continue to struggle in the Premier League.

Interestingly, Jeunes Footeux claim that Leeds have put a price tag on their No.10 rather than issuing a hands-off warning.

It is said that Leeds want €40m (£34m) for the 25-year-old, who earns £63,500-a-week in Yorkshire.

So far this season, Raphinha has been electric, scoring seven goals in 15 Premier League appearances.

It comes after he impressively scored eight goals and provided 11 assists in all competitions last term.

Leeds surely won’t sell Raphinha

Wherever Jeunes Footeux have obtained their information about the £34m asking price, it should be questioned.

Leeds signed Raphinha for £17m, and he has since taken the hardest league in Europe by storm.

In that respect, he’s at least worth £50m, instead of only double his transfer fee.

With five caps for Brazil now under his belt as well, Raphinha’s value has risen even more as he has international pedigree.

In truth, we can only see the South American leaving Elland Road in the near future if Leeds are relegated to the Championship this season.

As things stand, Bielsa’s men find themselves 16th in the Premier League, just five points above the relegation zone, so it’s certainly a possibility.
