Torino president Urbano Cairo fears Andrea Belotti will leave the Serie A club for free amid interest from Premier League giants Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, speaking via Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.
Who could blame Belotti, really, if he decides that he’s come to the end of his story at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino?
The Italy international has stuck by the club through thick and thin, through numerous relegation battles and years of underachievement.
And, with his 28th birthday just a few days away, Belotti understandably feels that now would be the ideal time to ride off into the sunset, especially with that contract situation opening the door to some of the biggest clubs on British soil for a striker in his prime.
Torino Granata reported in October that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal had identified Belotti as a potential replacement for their own out-of-contract number nine, Alexandre Lacazette.
West Ham are interested too – though it is understood that the Hammers are not exactly confident of winning the race for Belotti’s signature (EuroSport).
With Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici pulling the strings, Tottenham feels like a potentially more realistic destination these days. Particularly when you consider that the Tottenham boss wanted Belotti during his time at Chelsea too.
Is Andrea Belotti signing for Antonio Conte’s Spurs?

At the time, the former Palermo frontman was valued at an eye-watering £85 million.
“I don’t see a big chance to extend his contract,” admitted pessimistic president Cairo. “But we’ll see.”
Interestingly, Belotti, scorer of 107 goals in 235 games for Torino, is not the only Granata player on Tottenham’s hitlist.
It is understood that former Inter Milan coach Conte also has his sights firmly fixed on defender Gleison Bremer and rampaging right-wing-back Wilfried Singo.
