Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has told BBC Sport that he will start banging in the goals soon.
Saka made the comments following Arsenal’s 3-0 win against Southampton at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.
The 20-year-old, who started on the right of a midfield-four behind Martin Odegaard as the number 10, provided an assist.
The England international winger could not score.
Bukayo Saka’s message to Arsenal fans
Saka told BBC Sport when asked about the message at half time: “We had to go and push and get the third, not just sit back soak up pressure.
“I think we showed that we’re capable of that. I hit the post, but the goals will come – I know they’ll come.”
Encouraging
Saka is a very good attacking player, but the 20-year-old does not score too many goals.
The Arsenal no. 7 has scored two goals in 14 Premier League starts so far this season.

The England international scored five goals in the Premier League and two goals in the Europa League last season.
Yes, Arsenal scored three goals against Southampton, but they are having problems in finding the back of the net overall.
Mikel Arteta’s side have scored 21 goals in 16 Premier League games so far this season.
The Gunners have scored as many goals as 17th-placed Watford.
So, if Saka starts chipping in with goals, then it will be a massive help for Arsenal in their quest to finish in the Premier League top four.
