Leeds United interest in Arsenal’s Khayon Edwards
The Daily Mail have reported today interest in Arsenal teenager Edwards from Leeds, Newcastle United and Chelsea.
Brighton and Hove Albion and Southampton are also keen on the 18-year-old, as are a number of clubs in Germany.
The young striker is in the final year of his scholarship deal.
Arsenal want Edwards to stay, but the North London club are unable to agree on a new deal with the teenage striker, according to the report.
One for the future
Edwards is only 18 and is playing for the Arsenal youth team at the moment, but he has trained with manager Mikel Arteta’s senior side.
In our opinion, Edwards is a player for the future, and Leeds want him for the long term.

It is very unlikely that Bielsa will include the teenager in his first team if Leeds sign him.
The likelihood is that Edwards would be part of the Leeds youth team initially.
Leeds would then judge his progress and act accordingly.
Edwards is a very prolific striker who has scored 14 times and provided six assists in 13 appearances at youth level for Arsenal.
