British rapper AJ Tracey has said on Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur should hand Hugo Lloris a new contract.

The Athletic reported this month that Tottenham are considering handing Lloris a new deal.

The £100,000-a-week goalkeeper (SalarySport) himself is open to extending his stay at Tottenham beyond the end of the season.

Lloris, 34, is out of contract at Tottenham in the summer of 2022.

AJ Tracey is a Spurs fan, and he has publicly urged Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy on Twitter to hand the France international goalkeeper a new deal.

New Tottenham contract for Hugo Lloris

It does seem likely that Lloris will sign a new contract at Tottenham.

Lloris is 34 now, but there is no doubt that he is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.

Yes, the goalkeeper still makes mistakes, but all footballers make mistakes.

Now, of course, Tottenham need to plan for the future and should look at a suitable successor to Lloris.

That can be done with Lloris at the club.

Pierluigi Gollini is the back-up goalkeeper at Tottenham, and maybe in the coming weeks and months, he will push Lloris even more.
