Kevin Campbell has suggested on Highbury Squad that Arsenal winger Nicolas Pepe could be struggling for playing time under manager Mikel Arteta due to attitude issue.
The former Arsenal striker has suggested that maybe Pepe is not particularly great with his attitude during Arsenal training.
The 26-year-old last played for Arsenal against Leicester City on October 30.
Pepe, who earns £140,000 per week (Spotrac), has made five starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season.
Theory on Pepe struggles at Arsenal
Campbell said on on Highbury Squad about Pepe: “Maybe Pepe’s attitude is not right. And that sends a bad message to the team. If you are not putting the work in, if you are just skulking around, it sends a bad message to the team.”
Why is Pepe not playing for Arsenal?
Now, we have to make it clear that it is Campbell’s theory that there is a problem with Pepe in training.
We do not know that.
It is merely Campbell’s theory.

In our opinion, Pepe is not getting chances because he is not better than the players ahead of him.
Bukayo Saka has pretty much taken the place of the 26-year-old in the Arsenal starting lineup.
Pepe is a good winger, but he is inconsistent and does not always deliver the goods.
Like Saka and Emile Smith Rowe do.
And that’s why, in our view, Pepe does not start regularly for Arsenal.
