Kaide Gordon continues to establish himself in Liverpool’s first-team after training yesterday.
First-team chances
Liverpool were at the AXA Training Centre in the evening, as Jurgen Klopp’s side prepare for a game against Aston Villa tomorrow.
It was only a light session, but the fact that Gordon was there no longer is much of a surprise.
The 17-year-old was snapped training alongside Mohamed Salah last night, after spending the whole week in first-team training.
Gordon has been training with the senior squad for some time now, which really is testament to his ability.

The teenager has been showing signs he could be a spectacular signing for Liverpool in the years to come.
Gordon has been a frequent scorer for Liverpool’s development side, and already has a first-team appearance to his name for the Reds.
He will be learning a lot from his exposure to first-team training right now.
And while he may not feature against Villa, the fact that he is continuing to be involved, suggest that chances may not be too far away.
Elsewhere in the session Roberto Firmino did return for Liverpool in what looks like positive news.

Firmino has been out injured of late, but seems to be on the verge of a comeback now.
It is not yet clear whether he will be fit enough to feature against Villa at the weekend.
In truth it seems must likely that he will start from the bench, even if he is able to play some part.
But seeing him back in training was a boost for Liverpool fans, and it also elicited a very positive reaction from his Reds teammates.
