The relationship between Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte and Steven Bergwijn is strained, according to ESPN.
Steven Bergwijn – Antonio Conte rumour
ESPN are reporting this morning that Dutch club Ajax are interested in signing Bergwijn from Tottenham in the January transfer window.
The Dutch club are willing to sign the 24-year-old winger either on loan or on a permanent contract.
Cone is reportedly ‘unconvinced’ about the Netherlands international.
ESPN have further claimed that the relationship between Bergwijn and Conte is ‘strained’.

Steven Bergwijn Spurs exit inevitable?
Tottenham paid PSV Eindhoven £27 million in January 2020 for Bergwijn (BBC Sport).
Jose Mourinho, now at AS Roma, was in charge of Spurs at the time.
The Tottenham no. 23 has scored four goals in 42 Premier League appearances so far in his career.
In our opinion, Bergwijn does appear unlikely to stay at Tottenham beyond the January transfer window.
If Conte does not consider him part of his long-term plans, then it is likely that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will offload him in the January transfer window.
It would make sense for the winger to move on, as it does not seem that he has a future at Spurs.
Under Conte anyway.
