Rangers midfielder John Lundstram has indicated that there hasn’t been a huge difference in the approach of Giovanni van Bronckhorst compared to Steven Gerrard.
Rangers lost boss Steven Gerrard to Aston Villa in November, and had to move quickly for a replacement.
The Gers chose to bring in Van Bronckhorst, a former Rangers player for three years.
The Dutchman has made a great start to life back at Rangers. Van Bronckhorst has won four from four as Rangers boss, conceding just one goal.
Rangers take on Lyon in the Europa League tonight in the biggest test of Van Bronckhort’s unbeaten run.
Lundstram comments on Van Bronckhorst at Rangers
Ahead of tonight’s game, Rangers midfielder Lundstram has been discussing his new boss.
Lundstram – signed by Gerrard – now has to try and impress a new manager at Ibrox.
Lundstram has told The Scottish Sun that he doesn’t actually see too many differences right now.

The former Sheffield United man noted that all managers want their midfielders to play with energy, to win the ball back and to pass the ball.
Lundstram did though claim that Van Bronckhorst has made ‘little tweaks’ to Gerrard’s Rangers setup, and they are working right now.
“When you play in midfield you have always got a certain role to carry out,” said Lundstram. “You have got to be able to pass the ball, you have got to be combative, you have got to want the ball and you have got to be energetic. I think most managers would demand that of their midfielders anyway.”
“There has not been massive changes. The No 6 role is one the boss likes to play with as well so there’s not massive differences. But we can see little tweaks the new manager has come in and made and it’s working,” he added.
