According to Jeunes Footeux, Crystal Palace and Newcastle are both interested in signing Wolves defender Rayan Ait Nouri.
What’s the story?
Well, the Premier League duo are interested in raiding Wolves for their promising left-back, who has impressed in England’s top-flight.
Wolves signed the Frenchman from Angers for €11m (£9m), and he has since gone on to make 29 Premier League appearances.
Clearly, Ait Nouri’s performances have caught the eye of Crystal Palace and Newcastle, with Jeunes Footeux claiming that the Eagles hold a stronger interest than the Magpies.
It is said that Patrick Vieira wants another young left-back to compete with Tyrick Mitchell at Selhurst Park.
Jeunes Footeux believe Wolves will not sell the 20-year-old for anything less than €25m (£21m).
Newcastle and Crystal Palace should both avoid Rayan Ait Nouri

In our view, signing Ait Nouri isn’t a good use of money for Crystal Palace or Newcastle, despite the fact he’s a fine player.
£21m is no small fee, and it isn’t worth spending that sum on a new left-back when both sides already have good options in that area.
Behind Mitchell, Vieira can call upon Jeffrey Schlupp, while Tayo Adaramola is another promising young left-back in the Academy.

In Newcastle’s case, Eddie Howe has Jamal Lewis – the Englishman cost £15m, so the Magpies must show some faith in him.
Matt Ritchie and Paul Dummett can also play at left-back if need be.
If either side sign Aït Nouri for the aforementioned sum, we’d be very surprised – it would be a huge waste of money.
