Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club released a statement regarding the Europa League clash against Lyon.
What’s the story?
Well, Lyon released 2,200 tickets for Rangers fans hoping to travel to France ahead of the final group stage encounter, which were promptly snapped up.
However, the French Minister of the Interior then revealed that no away support would be allowed, prompting supporters to cancel their travel arrangements and any accommodation.
Now, there has been a U-turn, and the Rangers fans have been granted access to travel to Lyon for the game.
What a complete and utter mess.
Those among the Ibrox faithful who cancelled their bookings have now been left in a horrible situation.
The game takes place on Thursday, leaving supporters with little time to make alternative arrangements – what a farce.
Lyon and Rangers should compensate fans

Any fan who has lost money as a result of this unbelievable situation should be compensated by either Rangers or Lyon, or by the pair of them.
The COVID-19 pandemic has made life seriously hard for some fans from a financial point of view, and they do not deserve to be treated like this.
Football clubs were also affected financially, although they still have significant finances in comparison to supporters.

Anyone who has lost money as a result of a hotel or flight cancellation should be paid back, as they are completely blameless in this mess of a situation.
Once again, the fans are treated with contempt.
For now, let’s see what the Rangers fans on Twitter have been saying about the situation…
