Some Manchester United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation regarding Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn.
The Sun have reported that new Manchester United interim-manager Ralf Rangnick wants to sign McGinn from Premier League rivals Villa.
United reportedly wanted to sign the 27-year-old in 2019.
Villa wanted £50 million for the midfielder at the time and will want even more now.

Aston Villa fans should be encouraged
In our opinion, Villa fans should be proud and encouraged by Manchester United’s reported interest in McGinn.
Why?
Well, because it shows that they have some quality players who the top-four clubs in the Premier League think that are good enough for them.
Manchester City signed Jack Grealish for £100 million in the summer of 2021.
And now United reportedly want McGinn.
Villa are a rich and established club in the Premier League.
The Villans do not have to sell any player because of financial reasons.
And it is very unlikely that Villa will entertain any offers for McGinn in the middle of the season.
If McGinn does leave in the summer of 2022, then it will be for a lot of money.
If United do not pay what the Villans want, then McGinn will stay at Villa.
It is as simple as that.
