Divock Origi is making the news this morning after scoring a late winner for Liverpool against Wolverhampton Wanderers, and MOTD presenter Gary Lineker has given his take on the striker.

Liverpool got the better of Wolves 1-0 away from home in the Premier League on Saturday.

Origi scored the only goal of the match deep into injury time.

The Belgium international striker had come on as a substitute in the second half.

As you would expect, Origi was discussed on Match of the Day on BBC One on Saturday night.

Important player for Liverpool

Yes, Origi is a squad player at Liverpool, but we cannot underestimate his importance as an impact substitute.

Liverpool fans will forever remember his contribution to their Champions League success under manager Jurgen Klopp.

The 26-year-old knows that he is a squad player at Liverpool, but he is always ready to make as an impact as a substitute.

And Origi looks sharp when he comes on.

Just like he did against Wolves.
