Tottenham Hotspur have reached out about signing ‘an excellent player’ – according to the one and only Cristiano Ronaldo.

Spurs have been linked with a move for the ‘incredible’ Dejan Kulusevski in recent weeks.

And the Manchester United star is a big admirer of the 21-year-old, whom he played with in Turin for Juventus.

In 2020, before joining the Red Devils, Ronaldo said that he couldn’t wait to play alongside him.

He said: “He has a great potential, and he’s an excellent player. I hope to play with him and score a lot of goals together.”

Going to Spurs?

But interestingly, he might be off to Tottenham because – according to Calciomercato – Spurs have touched base with the Italian giants about bringing him to North London.

The report adds that Juve want £30 million but that the Lilywhites have only enquired about a loan agreement at this point in time.

Ronaldo being, well, Ronaldo, the Portuguese icon clearly knows a talented footballer when he sees one and therefore this is quite exciting.

But Tottenham are from being the only horse in this race because ironically, their North London rivals Arsenal are also reportedly interested in the player.

However, Spurs have a certain Antonio Conte at Hotspur Way and being one of the continent’s most respected coaches, Kulusevski would surely be up for playing under the Italian.

Kulusevki has only managed to start three Serie A games under Massimiliano Allegri so far this season.
