Michael Owen sends message to Divock Origi as Liverpool go top

Michael Owen has taken to Twitter to send a message to Liverpool striker Divock Origi after his goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers saw Jurgen Klopp’s go above Chelsea to the top of the Premier League table.

Origi came on as a substitute for Liverpool in the second half of the Premier League game against Wolves on Saturday.

In the fourth minute of injury time.

Liverpool won 1-0.

Former Liverpool striker Owen has sent a message to Origi on Twitter.

Liverpool top Premier League table

The win against Wolves means that Liverpool are now at the top of the Premier League table.

The Reds have leapfrogged Chelsea into the top spot.

The Merseyside club have picked up 34 points from 15 matches, a point more than second-placed Chelsea.

Defending champions Manchester City are third on 32 points, but they have played 14 games.
