NCIS has seen countless characters come and go in its nearly 20 years on our screens, both in its main cast and the guest stars who are welcomed in each episode.

Season 19 has been no different as NCIS has pressed forward with new cases despite the high-profile departures of Emily Wickersham and more recently Mark Harmon.

Now, the CBS series is back after its Thanksgiving break but just who is set to appear in the cast of NCIS season 19, episode 8?

NCIS season 19 episode 8 release date and plot

NCIS season 19 returns to CBS after a three-week break with episode 8 at 9pm ET on November 29th, 2021.

Titled Peacekeeper, the new chapter sees the NCIS team investigate the death of a US Navy reservist.

The victim’s body is found in a beat-up car at the end of a gun range, making the case even more puzzling.

Also in the episode, which has guns at its center, Kasie weighs up the pros and cons of buying a firearm.

Guest star spotlight

Grace Lynn Kung as Doris Edwards

Making her NCIS debut as Doris Edwards is Ottawa-born actress Grace Lynn Kung who has 20 years of acting experience to her name.

Fans will likely know Grace from her recent appearances in the series Clarice, Transplant, Star Trek: Discovery and Designated Survivor as well as the films Fahrenheit 451, Miss Sloan and the video game Fallout 76.

Ginifer King as Lexi Davis

Ginifer King appears as Lexi Davis in episode 8 and the Texas-born actor has been in some big-name productions recently.

Most recently, Ginifer appeared in episodes of You season 3 and Lucifer season 6 on Netflix as well as Fox’s 9-1-1: Lone Star and The Haunted Hathaways on Nickelodeon.

Patrick Y. Malone as Chuck Gorton

Patrick Y. Malone made his acting debut back in 1990 in the Johnny Depp-starring TV series 21 Jump Street (not to be confused with the film) and has since appeared in over 60 roles.

The New Jersey-born actor has most recently appear in The Tomorrow War and also has appearances in Ask Harriet, Alone, Desperate Housewives and NCIS: Los Angeles where he played an LAPD Detective in a 2012 episode.

Rio Mangini as Ned

Born in October 2002, 19-year-old Rio Mangini is the newest actor on the scene in episode 8’s cast.

However, the actor has already been involved in almost 30 acting roles with appearances coming in Home Before Dark, Everything Sucks!, Lethal Weapon, Mission Force One and Bella and the Bulldogs.

On top of that, Rio is also a musician and has worked as a composer on several short films and even in the music department on Blade Runner 2049.

Anzu Lawson as Sonia Bell

Anzu Lawson is another actress with plenty of experience with almost 70 roles since her 1989 debut.

The most notable of which have come in Guilty Party, Ray Donovan, The Young and the Restless and NCIS: Los Angeles.

Don Swayze as Pete Walker

And finally, we come to arguably to biggest name in the episode, Don Swayze, the brother of legendary actor, Patrick.

Don has been acting since the mid-1980s and has over 100 roles to his name, both large and small, including the US soaps General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, The Young and the Restless as well as The Bridge, Family Guy, Sons of Thunder and even as 2004 episode of NCIS.


NCIS season 19 continues with episode 8 on CBS at 9pm ET on Monday, November 29th, 2021.
