Speaking on a video posted on Liverpool’s Twitter pace, Thiago Alcantara and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been full of praise for Mohamed Salah.

Salah has been in red hot form so far this season. He’s the current top scorer and top assister in the Premier League, and he’s being spoken about as the best player in the world right now.

Thiago and Oxlade-Chamberlain were being interviewed by a couple of the Reds’ young academy players, and they asked a rather tough question.

What’s been said about Salah?

The Liverpool midfielders were asked to pick the best player from Mohamed Salah, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, and in their eyes, there was only one choice.

“Salah,” Thiago said

“At the minute, I think Salah,” Oxlade-Chamberlain agreed.

“Yeah, he’s playing amazing,” Thiago concluded.

Best on the planet

It’s hard to make a case against Salah being the best footballer on the planet right now.

Yes, he didn’t win the Ballon d’Or on Monday evening, but since the start of this season, nobody has been able to match what Salah has been doing for Liverpool.

Lionel Messi can’t match his numbers despite the fact he’s playing in Ligue 1, while Cristiano Ronaldo isn’t coming close since his return to Manchester United.

Salah is undoubtedly world-class, and at the moment, he looks like he’s the absolute best in the world.
