Who does Billy Gardell play on the show?

Billy plays the show’s lead, Bob, a compression sock salesman who falls in love with his Nigerian cardiac nurse Abishola, played by Folake Olowofoyeku.

Bob and Abishola form a close connection after the former suffers from a mild heart attack and soon requires the assistance of Abishola’s medical duties.

The premise of the show follows Bob’s road to recovery as well as his developing relationship with Abishola.

Gardell’s weight loss

Fans of the show have noticed Gardell’s weight loss throughout the series, but season 3 has shown a significant change in the actor.

Gardell has spoken quite openly about his weight loss journey and the difficulties he has had to face within the industry.

Gardell has talked publicly about his days playing Mike alongside Melissa McCarthy in Mike & Molly and how he responded to comments and articles being published about his weight.

How much weight has the actor lost?

According to WealthyPersons, Billy Gardell’s current weight is estimated to be 92 kilograms or 202 pounds.

Taking the actor’s once 350-pound weight into consideration, that means that Gardell has lost an impressive 150 pounds.

The actor has not specified what his weight goals are, however, Gardell seems to be making tremendous progress in his own right and fans are backing him all the way.
