Joe Rodon is said to be becoming ‘frustrated’ with his lack of game time at Tottenham Hotspur by Football London.
Continued omissions
Rodon was signed by Spurs last summer by Jose Mourinho for £15 million (Daily Mail) and there was a realisation that a period of adaption would be needed.
Rodon had, after-all, only played at Championship level prior to his move to Spurs.
However, almost 18 months down the line, the Welshman doesn’t appear to be any closer to Tottenham’s starting line-up.
He was not even included in Spurs’ match day squad to face Burnley, which looks like a worrying omen for him under Antonio Conte.
Rodon had started for Spurs in their defeat to Mura, and it seems that display saw him fall even further away from the first team picture.
Football London now suggest that Rodon would be open to leaving Tottenham in January on loan.

Would Spurs let him go?
If Spurs did let Rodon go, it is likely that plenty of Premier League clubs would be keen.
When he has featured Rodon actually has looked like one of Spurs’ more reliable managers.
However, he now hasn’t been a regular pick under Mourinho, Ryan Mason, Nuno or Conte – which is a real concern.
Whether Tottenham accept a loan bid is likely to depend on their own transfer plans.
If Spurs can bring in a central defender, then Rodon may well be allowed to leave, but right now they would surely be leaving themselves short if they were to offload the 24-year-old.
