Ari Lennox tweeted that she has allegedly been racially profiled by a member of staff at Amsterdam airport.

“I’m being arrested in Amsterdam for reacting to a woman racially profiling me,” Lennox wrote on Twitter this morning. She later added: “F*** Amsterdam security. They hate black people.”

Before this, she had tweeted: “They’re arresting me,” Ari then added that she just wanted to get home: “I just want to go home. I’ll never leave my house again.”

Ari gets arrested at Amsterdam Airport

In a statement, military police spokesperson Robert van Kapel said: “Our unit found a woman full of emotions, that wouldn’t calm down. That’s why she had to be taken into custody.”

The statement added that the police are investigating claims of reported threats made by Ari Lennox before and during her arrest. The Dutch military police, who are in charge of security at Schiphol airport explained the reason why the singer was arrested.

The report explained that she was taken into custody due to aggressive behaviour towards an airline official, and for being drunk in public.
