Fans were left rather bewildered lately, after news that Star Trek: Discovery was being pulled from Netflix so soon before the arrival of season 4. UK fans can rest their troubled minds, however, as season 4 has found a new home.

Season 4 will see Sonequa Martin-Green’s, Michael Burnham, return with her USS Discovery crew to face an unknown threat in this chapter, described as an invisible anomaly. The events of this chapter are meant to take place 900 years after the setting of Star Trek: The Original Series.

What happened to Star Trek: Discovery being on Netflix?

Star Trek: Discovery fans were rather upset over hearing that the show’s fourth season would not be airing on Netflix for international viewers.

The decision came from ViacomCBS when it decided to strengthen the presence of Paramount+ internationally, which resulted in certain shows being pulled from competitive streaming platforms.

Star Trek: Discovery, sadly, was one of the shows caught in the crossfire, leaving international fans disappointed over not being able to watch the fourth season of the show on their regular platform.

Where and when to watch Star Trek: Discovery in the UK

Luckily, there is already a plan in place for international viewers who wish to view the upcoming chapter.

Star Trek: Discovery season 4 will premiere on Friday, November 26, 2021, at 9 PM on Pluto TV, and the channel will also be available to watch by viewers located in Spain, Italy, and Germany.

The ViacomCBS-owned platform is a free streaming service that does not require any sign-up protocol.

The first two episodes will premiere at the aforementioned time and place and will be repeated on the channel on Saturday and Sunday nights at the same time.
