Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been reacting after the club was linked with a move for Manchester United defender Eric Bailly.
According to journalist Duncan Castles, Antonio Conte is keen to bring two centre-backs to north London and Bailly is one of the players he has his eye on.
Indeed, Castles claims Conte is a fan of the centre-back and even wanted him at Inter Milan. However, Tottenham supporters aren’t best pleased with the idea of signing Bailly – and for one reason.
Indeed, Spurs fans don’t like this plan because the Ivorian is incredibly injury prone.
It’s a fair complaint, Bailly has played just 67 Premier League games in more than five seasons in Manchester, so the numbers do stack up.
The last thing Tottenham need right now is another injury-prone player, so fans are hoping the club steers clear of this one.
