Paul Merson has said on SportsKeeda that he did not expect Leeds United to lose to Tottenham Hotspur and has predicted them to go down to Brighton and Hove Albion.
The former Arsenal star has said that Leeds were outstanding in the first half against Tottenham last weekend.

Leeds took the lead through Daniel James in the first half.
The Whites will face Brighton and Hove Albion away from home in the Premier League this weekend.
Sky Sports pundit Merson believes that Leeds will lose 2-0 to the Seagulls.

Merson wrote on SportsKeeda: “Leeds United were outstanding in the first half against Spurs last week, and I thought there was no way they were going to lose that game.
“They were poor in the second half, however, and need to be more consistent to move up the table.
“Leeds are better than they were at the start of this Premier League season, but this is a hard game for them.
“Brighton have been impressive under Graham Potter and I’d back them to win this match comfortably.”
Leeds United should stay positive
As Merson notes, Leeds were brilliant in the first half against Spurs.
Yes, Leeds were not great in the second half, but we have to give credit to Antonio Conte’s side for stepping up their game after the break.
Brighton are a good team, but in our view, Leeds can certainly beat them.
