An Arsenal academy player seems blown away by Jack Wilshere in training.

Wilshere, who began his career at Arsenal, has been maintaining his fitness at London Colney in recent weeks.

The 29-year-old is not on the Gunners’ books any longer but he’s been permitted to train among Mikel Arteta’s squad as he looks for a new club.

But it looks like the England international isn’t there just to make up the numbers.

Going by Bradley Ibrahim, another Hale End graduate, Wilshere is actually quite good.

The 17-year-old named Wilshere and Ben White as the best players that he has trained witht at Arsenal during an Instagram Q & A.

Surprising?

Well, yeah.

When you think of how many brilliant technicians Arsenal have, it’s a tad surprising that Ibrahim has chosen Wilshere, someone who literally doesn’t play for them.

By the same token, it also isn’t that much of a shock.

Not only is Wilshere very talented, despite being a free agent, but he has a solid attitude and always has done.

Having spent so much of his career out injured, Wilshere, who came up at Arsenal under Arsene Wenger, will relish even being able to train.

And the fact that he’s making a positive impression is testament to his work ethic and hunger and eagerness to impress.
