Tottenham Hotspur striker Kion Etete continued his decent form with another goal for Northampton Town on Tuesday night.

Tottenham signed Etete from Notts County back in 2019 but he has yet to make his first-team breakthrough.

The 19-year-old impressed at Under-18 and Under-23 levels, but just hasn’t been ready for the step up.

To aid his development, Tottenham sent Etete on loan to Northampton for the season – and it’s paying dividends.

Etete scored once again on Tuesday night, bagging in a 2-1 home win over Oldham Athletic.

That’s now three goals and one assist in Etete’s last four games for Northampton.

It seems the teenager is adjusting to life in League Two, and Northampton fans are raving about his performances.

Northampton fans praise Tottenham talent Etete

The gangly target man had a role in the opening goal as he simply refused to give up a loose ball.

Etete than latched onto a Mitch Pinnock, lofting a beautiful first-time finish into the back of the net.

Etete is now showing Tottenham exactly what he can do in front of goal – and Spurs must be delighted with the reviews.

Northampton fans are taking to Twitter to praise Etete, claiming he is ‘different levels’.

Others think Etete is ‘build different’, noting that he was ‘fantastic’ last night and too good for League Two.

Some want Etete signed permanently, believing he won’t get a chance at Tottenham.
