According to Football London, Arsenal are set to promote Mika Biereth into the first team by slowly integrating him into senior training sessions.

The teenager starlet arrived at Arsenal this summer from Fulham, and it’s fair to say he’s wasted no time in impressing at the north London club.

Indeed, in 12 PL2 appearances this season, Biereth has five goals and three assists, and it looks as though this form has caught the eye of Mikel Arteta.

It’s not surprising to see Biereth rise rapidly through the ranks. After all, he looked like a star in the making before he even arrived at Arsenal.

Indeed, last season with Fulham the teenager lit up the U18 Premier League. He scored 21 goals in 21 appearances, but perhaps more impressively, he also grabbed 13 assists.

Arsenal’s current attacking options, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette aren’t getting any younger, and blooding in young talent such as Biereth and Folarin Balogun certainly won’t do the Gunners any harm.

It remains to be seen whether or not Biereth can impress enough in training to make his Premier League debut before the end of the season, but with the Danish youngster rising to every challenge in his career so far, it wouldn’t surprise us if we see him lining up for Arsenal in the not so distant future.
