The fifth Marvel production on the small screen will see Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton passing the Hawkeye mantle over to Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop.

Equipped with a powerhouse cast made up of the aforementioned actors plus Vera Farmiga, Alaqua Cox, and of course, Lucky the Pizza Dog, Hawkeye is bound to get you in the festive spirit.

Florence Pugh will also be returning as Yelena Belova – established as Natasha Romanoff’s sister in Black Widow – however, her role has been kept out of all promotion for the series, indicating that she has a surprise up her sleeve.

When was Hawkeye filmed?

Hawkeye reportedly began filming in December 2020 under the working title ‘Anchor Point.’

Filming wrapped in April 2021 and a series of reshoots apparently occurred in Toronto, Canada during September 2021.

Where was Hawkeye filmed?

Hawkeye was primarily filmed in New York, however, Atlanta and Canton were also visited.

Additionally, it was reported that some scenes were filmed in Greece and Tokyo.

New York

As the show’s narrative is set in New York and the surrounding area, the production filmed a majority of scenes here for authenticity.

Many scenes were filmed within Downtown Brooklyn, encompassing the Hoyt-Schermerhorn Streets subway station.

Diverting slightly to Manhattan, the production filmed in and around Midtown, the East Village, the Lotte New York Palace Hotel, and the Washington Square Park. Hell’s Kitchen was visited to film some scenes, which is also home to Marvel vigilante, Daredevil.

While this has not been confirmed, it was reported by several sources that filming briefly took place within the old town of Nafplion, Greece.
