Encanto is the latest film courtesy of Walt Disney Animation Studios and serves as the studio’s 60th film. The animated musical fantasy feature is very near its release date and we explore where you can watch the animation and what time it will be on Disney+.

Directed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush, Encanto tells the story of a family of Madrigals who live within an enchanted, Columbian town. Where to watch Encanto

Encanto is scheduled to release on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, in theaters worldwide.

The film premiered at the El Captain Theatre in Los Angeles on November 3, 2021, ahead of its wide theatrical release.

Encanto will be another feature honoring a 30-day exclusive theatrical run before it is added to any streaming platforms – as part of the COVID-19 pandemic agreement.

When is the film on Disney+?

Encanto will arrive on the streaming service Disney+ on Friday, December 24, 2021.

Its arrival date on the platform will give kids a magical adventure to watch just before Santa arrives, which promises to be fun for all the family.

Disney+ usually releases its new content at 12am PT in the US, which translates to 3am ET, 8am here in the UK, 9pm CET in Europe, 1:30pm in India and 7pm in Sydney, Australia.

How long is the animation?

Filled with original music by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Encanto is reported to last approximately 1 hour 39 minutes, according to IMDB.

The animation is also packed full of talented actors letting their voices and charisma shine for the roles, including Wilmer Valderrama, John Leguizamo, and Stephanie Beatriz voicing the lead role of Mirabel.

Additionally, Encanto will feature an original score composed by Germaine Franco, with eight original songs written and composed by Miranda.
