Leeds United lost again this weekend and there’s something of a dark cloud lingering over Elland Road right now.
The Whites sit precariously close to the relegation zone, and with a tough run of fixtures coming up, there’s a real danger that they’ll be in the bottom three by the time Christmas comes around.
Leeds’ players are seemingly very frustrated by what’s going on at the moment. Diego Llorente posted how upset he was on his Twitter page after their game against Spurs, while Kalvin Phillips publicly questioned Marcelo Bielsa’s decision to play him in defence after the match.
Junior Firpo has also made his feelings known after the Whites’ trip to north London, and it’s fair to say he’s not happy.
The £13m man says that he’s really upset with the result, and we can understand why.
Leeds were the better team for the first 45 minutes and heading into half-time 1-0 up, it’s fair to say they were in a strong position.
However, a second-half capitulation saw the Whites come away from this game without anything to show for it and yet another good performance has gone to waste.
Firpo says that the players will work hard to put things right and as long as Bielsa’s men continue to graft they’ll surely start to pick up results sooner or later.
