West Ham United’s Declan Rice has suggested that he may well by the next footballer to appear on Sing Your Dialect later this evening.

The Twitter world was taken by storm last night, as thousands of people effectively listened to an online karaoke session.

Eventually the stream was closed due to technical difficulties, but West Ham United’s Rice has now hinted that he may well be preparing to sing a song.

If he does step up, he will join the likes of footballers Aaron Ramsdale and Ryan McLaughlin to have a sing song, with the pair both taking part last night.

What is Sing Your Dialect?

The idea took over Twitter last night, with over 30,000 people ended up watching the stream.

In a bizarre evening, guests were invited on to the platform to sing a brief section of a song of their choosing.

A number of celebrities from Nigel Farage to Sam Billings and Micah Richards were listed as listeners to the stream.

The standard of singing was mixed, but the idea really took off, and it seems tonight’s stream could be even busier – especially if Rice does step up!

Can Declan Rice sing?

Well, let’s just say it’s unlikely that he’s got a career in the music industry after football.

Rice has done some karaoke before during Euro 2020 on BBC Radio Five Live, as he stepped up to sing Sweet Caroline.

We’ll let you be the judge of how good his attempts were…
