BMF episode 8 recap

Titled The King of Detroit, episode 8 of BMF aired on Starz on Sunday, November 21st.

The episode continues on from last week’s dramatic revelation that Lamar came to ask Kato for help in dealing with Meech and Terry.

After learning about her potential betrayal, B-Micke takes no prisoners and kills her in cold blood.

Detective Bryant is quickly on B-Mickie’s case and offers to strike a deal if B-Mickie helps him take down Meech and Terry.

Meanwhile, after their lives have become a lot more dangerous, Terry has decided that he wants out of the 50 Boyz, leaving Meech to run the organisation on his own.

However, despite appearing to finally kill the bloodthirsty Lamar, actor Eric Kofi Abrefa has refused to rule out returning in season 2, meaning that he could still be out there on the loose and that no one close to Meech or Terry is safe.

Will BMF return for season 2?

Yes, BMF will be returning to our screens for season 2.

Unbelievably, BMF was renewed for a second season on September 30th, just four days after episode 1 aired on Starz.

The announcement of more episodes clearly shows that the reaction to the series has been a positive one, something backed up on Rotten Tomatoes where the show has an impressive 83% audience score.

However, no release date for season 2 has been revealed just yet but it’s likely that fans will have to wait until the second half of 2022 to watch the next chapter of BMF.
