Alan Smith has praised Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon on Sky Sports Premier League (6:05pm, November 22, 2021) for his goal against Leeds United.
Smith has said that Reguilon took his goal for Tottenham against Leeds really well and unlike a defender.
The former Arsenal striker made the comments while watching the left-back in action for Spurs against Leeds at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last night.
The pundit was on co-commentary duty for the Premier League game between Tottenham and Leeds on Sky Sports.
Antonio Conte’s side won 2-1.

Sergio Reguilon should be praised
Reguilon recently said that Tottenham head coach Conte wants him to score more goals.
And the former Real Madrid left-back has responded to his manager.
Yes, there was luck involved in the goal.
Eric Dier’s free kick took a huge deflection.
But, we have to praise the former Real Madrid left-back for the way he anticipated the rebound.
The 24-year-old’s hunger to score cannot be ignored either.
Reguilon told Premier League Productions after the game: “I am the happiest person in the world! To score my first Premier League goal, get the three points, is the best feeling.
“I had to have intensity to arrive and score, like the gaffer wanted. They started really well, and at half-time the gaffer told us to go man-to-man. We know as players we have to give more, the supporters will always support us.”
Reguilon has scored one goal and provided two assists in 11 Premier League appearances so far this season.
