Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is leaving Manchester United after nearly three years of not winning a big trophy. Football fans are curious to know his net worth and salary as he makes an early retirement from the role.
Solskjaer signed a new three-year deal in July but leaves after experiencing five defeats in their last seven Premier League matches. Leaving them 12 points behind top of the leaderboard team, Chelsea.
Whilst his stint as a football player may have come to an end, it was just the beginning of his managerial career, although it seems that chapter has also closed now too.
What is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s net worth?
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s estimated net worth is reportedly $80 million.
During his 11 year career at Manchester United, he reportedly earned just under £20million. When he coached the Norwegian team Molde he earned 4.4million Norwegian crowns which equates to £500,000 per year.
It is thought that as he steps down he will be given a full year’s salary as per his “severance package agreement.” This would mean he would get around £7.5million, making him the fifth highest-paid Premier League manager.
Much of his earnings will come from his successful career on the football pitch but also in his managerial role and payout.
