According to ESPN Brasil, Leeds have recently put FC Basel striker Arthur Cabral on their radar, with Barcelona also interested.
What’s the story?
Well, the 23-year-old is wanted by Leeds, but the Whites face competition from AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen, as well as Xavi’sBarcelona.
The Brazilian striker has been in exquisite form for FC Basel this season, scoring 23 goals in 24 games while also providing eight assists.
That is a simply outstanding return, and you can see why so many clubs are keen to sign Cabral.
ESPN Brasil believe FC Basel want €20m (£16.8m) for their No.10, who was called into the national team by Brazil boss Tite earlier this year.
That seems a fair price, given his goalscoring heroics so far this term.
Leeds should go all out for Arthur Cabral

One thing Marcelo Bielsa desperately needs at Leeds is another striker.
Patrick Bamford’s injury has hit Leeds hard this season, and while he has improved, Rodrigo still isn’t matching the England international’s levels.
As a result, Leeds have scored just 11 goals in 11 games this season, and are currently sat 15th in the Premier League.

Should the situation remain as it is, Victor Orta will have to find a new frontman in January to help Rodrigo and Bamford.
Whether it’s Cabral, or an alternative if Leeds lose out on the South American, something must be done in the transfer market.
If not, who knows what might happen – relegation is certainly not out of the equation for Bielsa’s Leeds, as things stand.
