Speaking ahead of Liverpool’s game against Arsenal, Jurgen Klopp has been discussing the Gunners’ recent transformation.

The London club started this season in truly awful form. They lost their opening three matches and looked like genuine relegation contenders.

However, since then, the Gunners haven’t looked back, They’ve not lost a single game since their humiliating loss to Manchester City and they’ve been impressive in the process.

Jurgen Klopp has been blown away by two players in particular, Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe.

What did Klopp say ahead of Liverpool vs Arsenal?

Klopp spoke about Saka and Smith Rowe, labelling the young pair as ‘exciting’.

“You can see they brought a few new faces in; some found, obviously, their striking feet back. And apart from that, young and exciting players as well with [Emile] Smith Rowe and [Bukayo] Saka and all these kinds of things,” Klopp said.

“So, it’s a completely different team, obviously, to the beginning of the season. But the good thing is they didn’t play us yet. So, yes, eight games unbeaten but they come to Anfield and obviously we are not overly happy with the last game we played.”

Difference makers

Saka and Smith Rowe have seemingly caught Klopp’s eye, and it’s fair to say that they could make the difference at Anfield this weekend.

Andy Robertson reportedly isn’t going to start this one, while Trent Alexander-Arnold can be gotten at down that right side.

If the Gunners are to get anything at Anfield then their two young talismen may need to be at their very best.
