Travis Scott is facing multiple lawsuits after the crowd surge incident at his Astroworld music festival. How much is the rapper being sued for in total?

How much is Travis Scott being sued for?

An estimated 110 lawsuits have been filed against Travis Scott at the time of writing.

On Tuesday, November 15, the rapper was named in a $750 million lawsuit, that was filed on behalf of at least 125 Astroworld victims, according to NBC.

The lawsuit has been filed by Buzzbee Law Firm which has also listed Drake, Apple Music, and others as defendants.

And, on November 18, Texas attorney Thomas J. Henry filed a lawsuit worth $2 Billion against Travis Scott. The lawyer is representing more than 200 victims of the Astroworld.

Going by the reports, Travis is being sued for a total of $2.75 Billion.

How much has the rapper made from Atroworld tours?

The Astroworld tour first started in 2018. According to Forbes, Astroworld grossed a total of $53.5 million in 2019.

So far, the singer has made around $65 million from the Astroworld tour, reports Celebrity Net Worth.

The annual festival did not take place in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Travis returned with Astroworld in 2021, but the revenue generated from the latest event hasn’t been disclosed.

Singer’s attorney issues a statement

During his appearance on Good Morning America, Travis’ lawyer Edwin F. McPherson said the Astroworld indecent was “obviously a systemic breakdown.”

“Travis didn’t really understand the full effect of everything until the next morning. Truly, he did not know what was going on,” he added.

Meanwhile, Travis took to Twitter to issue an apology following the tragedy. He said he was “absolutely devastated.

“My prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival. Houston PD has my total support as they continue to look into the tragic loss of life,” the rapper added.
