Leeds’ U23s are in a torrid run of form at the moment.

Mark Jackson’s side were tremendous last season, but after stepping up a level they’ve really struggled, winning just one of their last nine games.

However, as ever, as this level, performances are often more important than results, and one man who has consistently performed to a high level is Lewis Bate.

Bate has been getting all sorts of plaudits from Leeds fans in recent weeks for his good performances, but it’s Chelsea fans who were speaking about him after yesterday’s game.

Chelsea beat Leeds 3-1, but after selling Bate to the Whites in the summer, supporters of the London club had plenty to say about the young midfielder.

Some were full of praise for him, with one fan branding him a ‘generational talent’, while others discussed Chelsea’s decision to sell the youngster.

A couple of fans were actually rather smug to see Bate on the losing side against his former club.

Regardless of what Chelsea fans were saying, it seems as though they wanted to talk about Bate after the match.

Here’s what Chelsea supporters have been saying about Bate…
