Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are now out but BD and SP do not work with Pokemon Home yet as the compatible update is set to arrive later.
You can buy either game right now or you can purchase the duo pack. The duo pack allows you to enjoy both versions so you can catch all of the exclusive creatures and legendaries.
While there are lots of pocket monsters in the game, the unfortunate news is that you cannot transfer them at this moment in time.
Is Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl compatible with Pokemon Home?
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are not compatible with Home as of yet.
This is a tad disappointing as Go, Sword and Shield, Let’s Go, Evee!, Let’s Go, Pikachu, and Bank all support the app and transfers. It would’ve been nice to do the same with BD and SP from day one, but the good news is that it will arrive in the future.
Will Pokemon BD and SP work with Home?
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will work with Pokemon Home in 2022.
Nintendo hasn’t provided an exact date, but it will happen following the release of Legends Arceus on January 28th. This is because the app will support both games next year.
Unfortunately, we do not know if Legends Arceus will be compatible with the app from day one. If day one support is available, then it’s possible January 28th is when the update will release for BD and SP.
We will update this article when more news is given.
How to download
As previously mentioned, it’s compatible with Go, Sword and Shield, Let’s Go, Evee!, Let’s Go, Pikachu, and Bank. If you own any of these games, you should definitely install the app so you can transfer them.
This will help you work towards completely filling out the entire Pokedex in time for when BD and SP support arrives.
