Travis Scott has been sued by many victims of the tragic Astroworld incident. Here’s a look at the total number of lawsuits filed against the rapper.

On Thursday, November 18, San Antonio, Texas-based attorney Thomas J. Henry dropped another bombshell on the rapper. The lawyer filed a $2 billion lawsuit against Travis and others involved on behalf of the Astroworld victims.

The death count of the tragic Astroworld incident has reached 10.

What’s the total number of lawsuits Travis Scott is facing?

At the time of writing, the total number of lawsuits filed against the Sicko Mode rapper has crossed 100. As per our estimate, close to 110 lawsuits have been filed so far.

However, this is subject to change as every other day, victims of the tragedy are suing the Houston native.

The biggest lawsuit filed against Travis is a recent one by attorney Henry. He filed the suit against the rapper, Apple Music, Live Nation, NRG Stadium and guest performer Drake on behalf of 282 victims.

All the entities involved have been sued for $2 billion in damages.

A look at some of the lawsuits filed after Astroworld

In his $2 billion suit, Mr Henry stated said, “The defendants stood to make an exorbitant amount of money off of this event, and they still chose to cut corners, cut costs, and put attendees at risk.”

In an interview with Hollywood Life, Mr Henry claimed the injuries his clients sustained after the Astroworld crowd surge ranged from heart attacks, brain injuries to broken bones, extensive bruising and bleeding. 

“Those who were injured are still very traumatized because they had to step over dead bodies,” the attorney said. 

He further detailed, “The crushing effect was so heavy and so hard. They couldn’t breathe. They couldn’t get out.”

Attorneys Ben Crump and Alex Hilliard also held a news conference to announce that they are filing lawsuits on behalf of over 200 attendees.

Houston attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing Axel Acosta’s and 124 other victims’ families, announced a $750 million lawsuit against Travis, Apple, Drake and Live Nation.

He further revealed that he will soon be filing another lawsuit on behalf of 100 more victims.

The family of a nine-year-old boy, Ezra Blount, who passed away at the event, filed a lawsuit on November 16, Tuesday.

The parents of Madison Dubiski have filed a wrongful death suit on behalf of their daughter.

What is the rapper’s net worth in 2021?

As per the Celebrity Net Worth portal, Travis’ net worth is $60 million.

The singer and songwriter has made his wealth as a result of his success in the music business and many of his other endeavours.

However, as new lawsuits keep surfacing every other day, the rapper could lose a lot of money if the courts rule against him.
